active substance: field artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) leaves dry extract (water) (raw material / extract ratio: 15-30/1) – 200 mg;

excipients: magnesium trisilicate, pregelatinized corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate.

Shell composition: gummilac, rosin, talc, gelatin, sucrose, calcium carbonate, dispersed dye*, carnauba wax, polysorbate 80.

The composition of the dispersed dye*: sucrose, yellow, black and brown iron oxides (E172), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), purified water. Water is removed during the manufacturing process of the finished medicinal product.

Pharmacological properties

The pharmacological effect of the drug is due to the complex of biologically active substances that make up the artichoke leaves. The drug has a choleretic effect and increases diuresis.

Indications for use

It is used to alleviate functional disorders of digestion and improve the excretory function of the kidneys.

For adults and children over 6 years old.

Dosage and administration

Adults: 2-3 tablets with a small amount of water orally 3 times a day before meals or when functional disorders occur.

Children over 6 years of age: It is recommended to take 1-2 tablets (depending on age) with a small amount of water orally 3 times a day before meals or when functional impairment occurs.

Children under 6 years of age: The use of Hofitol is not recommended in children under 6 years of age.

Conducting repeated courses of treatment is possible in consultation with the doctor. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
