Directions for use and doses
For internal use:
children aged 2 to 6 years – 10 ml 2 times a day (which corresponds to a daily dose of 30.80 mg of dry ivy leaf extract);
children aged 6 to 12 years – 15 ml 2 times a day (which corresponds to a daily dose of 46.20 mg of dry ivy leaf extract);
adults and children over 12 years of age, 15 ml 3 times a day (corresponding to a daily dose of 69.30 mg of dry ivy leaf extract) .
For the correct dosage, use a measuring cup.
Due to the lack of data in patients with renal and/or hepatic impairment, dosage recommendations are not possible. You should consult your doctor before taking ivy cough syrup .
Ivy cough syrup should be taken undiluted with plenty of water or a warm, caffeine-free drink.
If symptoms persist for more than one week of using this drug, you should consult a doctor.
